A lot of times in the fashion industry, people are confused on what is considered plus size fashion. People would say that all of the women in the left picture are all different sizes and only a few of them would land in the plus size category. All of these women are 154 lbs exact, so more than likely all of these women wear about a size 12 & up.

In the second picture none of these women wear close to a size 12 (which is where plus size starts), but they were labeled as plus size models. Sometimes the world gets the wrong idea of what a plus size person looks like. They feel as if you have a pudge that you might as well be considered plus sized, but that is incorrect. I read an article that said plus size women start at a size 8 and end at a 14, and that anything over a size 14 was just obese. That statement is also incorrect. The picture in the top left demonstrates that for you. All those women have different shapes and statures but they are the same in weight. So the next time you look at a plus size woman, just know that we're reshaping the world!!

Today in the fashion industry all we see are models, sizes 00-4. What about sizes 12-22? Do they not exist? Well now plus size fashion is growing in the industry.
We're now seeing plus size models on the runway and we're seeing plus size women in everyday life.
